The CUHK Institute of Intelligent Design
and Manufacturing (IIDM) is dedicated to advancing research and innovation in
intelligent design and smart manufacturing. Our diverse community of
researchers and educators collaborates across disciplines to address complex
industrial challenges. The Institute focuses on integrating artificial
intelligence, data science, automation and robotics, and advanced manufacturing
technologies to create the next generation of intelligent production systems
and design methodologies. By combining expertise in engineering, computer
science, and design, CUHK IIDM takes a leading role in developing technologies
that transform traditional manufacturing into intelligent, efficient, and
sustainable devices and systems.
